Completion of training does not automatically guarantee an assessor licence. Final authorisation remains subject to competency evaluation, practical performance and approval by Green Path Alliance.
Credential Distinction
Understand the Difference Between Academy Credentials
Each Academy credential has a specific meaning and level of responsibility. They are awarded for individual professional development — not for organisations or destinations.
Certificate of Completion
Confirms participation in and completion of the Foundations programme.
Professional Certificate
Confirms that the participant successfully completed the Practitioner programme and passed the required examination.
Assessor Licence
Confirms that Green Path Alliance has authorised the individual to conduct assigned GRAIL assessments under defined methodology, quality and ethical requirements.
GSTC & recognition disclaimer: Individual Academy credentials are separate from the assessment or recognition of a hotel, tourism organisation or destination. They do not constitute GSTC accreditation, GSTC auditor status or authority to issue Green Path Alliance recognition independently.
The Assessor Model
Professional Reach. Central Quality Control.
The Green Path assessor network extends professional reach while keeping methodology, quality and recognition under central control.
- Licensed assessors may collect evidence and conduct assigned GRAIL assessments.
- Assessors only receive access to the assignments for which they are authorised.
- Green Path Alliance retains control of the methodology, quality assurance, scoring validation, final reports and recognition decisions.
- Assessors cannot independently issue Green Path Alliance certificates, badges or Partner recognition.
- All assessors must follow confidentiality, impartiality and conflict-of-interest requirements.
