Alliance Assessment
How the Green Path Alliance Assessment Works
A step-by-step guide to the Green Path Alliance Assessment — from initial enquiry to Certified Alliance Partner recognition and ongoing performance monitoring.
Initial Enquiry & Eligibility Review
Submit an enquiry through our contact page. A Green Path advisor reviews your organization's profile, sector context, and sustainability starting point to determine the appropriate Alliance pathway.
This initial conversation is free and without obligation. It helps both parties understand whether joining the Green Path Alliance is the right fit for your organization at this stage.
Governance Assessment
A structured evaluation of your organization's existing sustainability policies, accountability mechanisms, and operational practices against Green Path's evidence-based criteria.
The assessment produces a documented ESG baseline, identifies governance gaps, and maps your current position against the Alliance Assessment standard. This is the foundation of your Alliance journey.
Gap Analysis & Implementation Roadmap
Based on the governance assessment, we produce a detailed implementation roadmap identifying priority areas, measurable targets, and structured milestones for closing performance gaps.
Roadmaps are time-bound (typically 12–24 months) and tied to measurable ESG indicators. Each milestone is designed to be practical, achievable, and aligned with your organizational capacity.
Evidence Preparation & Submission
Your organization prepares and submits documented evidence demonstrating compliance with Green Path's ESG indicators across Environmental, Social, and Governance pillars.
Green Path provides a structured evidence guide so you know exactly what documentation is required. Evidence must be verifiable — we do not accept self-declarations or marketing materials as proof of performance.
Independent Review & Evaluation
Submitted evidence is evaluated by Green Path's independent review panel against published Alliance Assessment criteria. The review is conducted without commercial influence or bias.
The panel assesses documented evidence across all three ESG pillars, applying the GRAIL Framework's scoring methodology. Organizations receive detailed feedback regardless of the outcome.
Alliance Partner Recognition
Based on the independent review, a formal Alliance Partner recognition decision is made. Successful organizations become Certified Green Path Alliance Partners at the appropriate tier — Foundation, Standard, or Institutional.
If criteria are not fully met, organizations receive a detailed gap analysis with specific improvement targets and a defined timeline for re-evaluation. Recognition is never denied without clear, documented reasoning.
Continuous Monitoring & Annual Review
Certified Alliance Partners enter a continuous improvement cycle with annual performance reviews to ensure ESG performance remains measurable, documented, and credible over time.
Annual reviews assess ongoing compliance, progress against improvement targets, and alignment with any updated framework criteria. This protects the integrity of the certification for all stakeholders.
